The Blue Moon

The Blue Moon is a local restaurant that was a staple of our community. People would drive to our sleepy little town just to go eat at The Blue Moon. It was shut down some time ago, and lamented regularly with the  phrase, “I wish The Blue Moon were open tonight” when folks were deciding to eat at the Dairy Queen or the Diner on Hwy 6. But The Blue Moon rises again. It was bought a while back but has recently been opening on Saturday night and Sunday for lunch. It is a beautiful thing to see this neon sign glowing again.
